Terms of Use

Last updated: 30 July 2026

1. Agreement

These Terms of Use (“Terms”) govern your access to and use of Billcit’s websites, apps, and related services (the “Services”). By accessing or using the Services, you agree to these Terms and our Privacy Policy.

If you use the Services on behalf of a business, you represent that you have authority to bind that business to these Terms.

2. The Services

Billcit provides business tools such as billing/invoicing, inventory, party balances, payments tracking, reports, and related features. Features may vary by plan, platform, and region.

We may update, add, or remove features to improve the Services. Where a change materially reduces paid functionality, we will provide reasonable notice where practicable.

3. Accounts & responsibilities

You must provide accurate registration information and keep credentials confidential. You are responsible for activity under your account.

You are responsible for the legality and accuracy of business data you enter (including tax invoices, GST details, and party information). Billcit is a software tool and does not replace professional tax, legal, or accounting advice.

Notify us promptly at business@billcit.com or WhatsApp @billcit if you suspect unauthorized access.

4. Acceptable use

You agree not to: misuse the Services; attempt unauthorized access; interfere with security or performance; reverse engineer except where allowed by law; use the Services for unlawful, fraudulent, or harmful purposes; upload malware; or infringe others’ rights.

We may suspend or terminate access for violations, risk to other users, non-payment, or legal requirements.

5. Subscriptions, trials & taxes

Paid plans are billed according to the plan you select (monthly/yearly) and the platform used (in-app purchase, website, or invoice).

Prices are generally shown in INR and may exclude applicable taxes unless stated otherwise. Platform stores may charge in local currency per their rules.

Free trials, if offered, convert to paid subscriptions under store or account rules unless cancelled in time.

6. Intellectual property

Billcit and its licensors own the Services, software, branding, and content we provide. You receive a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable license to use the Services for your internal business purposes while you comply with these Terms.

You retain ownership of your business data. You grant us a license to host, process, and display that data solely to provide the Services.

7. Third-party services

The Services may integrate with third parties (for example Google Drive, app stores, payment processors, or messaging). Those services are governed by their own terms and privacy policies. Billcit is not responsible for third-party services outside our reasonable control.

8. Disclaimers & limitation of liability

THE SERVICES ARE PROVIDED ON AN “AS IS” AND “AS AVAILABLE” BASIS TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW. WE DISCLAIM WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, AND NON-INFRINGEMENT.

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, BILLCIT WILL NOT BE LIABLE FOR INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, OR LOSS OF PROFITS, DATA, OR BUSINESS, ARISING FROM YOUR USE OF THE SERVICES.

OUR TOTAL LIABILITY FOR ANY CLAIM RELATING TO THE SERVICES IS LIMITED TO THE AMOUNTS YOU PAID TO BILLCIT FOR THE SERVICES IN THE TWELVE (12) MONTHS BEFORE THE CLAIM (OR INR 5,000 IF GREATER AND REQUIRED BY MANDATORY LAW).

9. Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of India. Courts in India shall have exclusive jurisdiction, subject to any mandatory consumer protections that apply to you.

10. Changes & contact

We may update these Terms by posting a revised version with a new “Last updated” date. Continued use after changes take effect constitutes acceptance.
